NASCAR is back! All eyes of the country will be on the historic Darlington Raceway this Sunday as the NASCAR Cup series and NASCAR Xfinity will host 3 races in 4 days.
NASCAR racing has been postponed since Friday March 13th. The cup series will be running this Sunday May 17th at 3:30 pm on FOX.
There will no doubt be a lot of new fans tuning into the race Sunday afternoon since NASCAR will be the first major sport to get back going since the COVID-19 closure. I’m sure a lot of them have listened to other sports podcasts before. As with NASCAR, there are many podcasts that you can choose from. Here are six different Podcasts options that you can choose and these are available on all major podcasting platforms. I picked just a few of the ones that I listen to on a weekly basis.
The Lapped Traffic podcast. Brandon Croud covers all things NASCAR. He keeps you entertained and he has different guests on each week. Most of the guests are NASCAR related and work in the sport. Sometime he will have drivers, radio and tv personalities on there and it is a great way to get to know them more than just what you hear and see during a race broadcast.

I recommend the PETM Podcast. This podcast is by Andrew Sherwin and Tailgate mayor Rusty Wallace. Each week they have different guests on and some of them are in the PETM Hall of Fame. They always do a good job discussing what is happening NASCAR and they give a different point of view. It is a must listen to each week.
I recommend Door, Bumper, Clear from Dirty Mo Media. The host Casey Boat and Producer Jason Schultz tries to keep the trio of spotters Brett Griffin, Freddie Kraft, and TJ Majors in line. They have a show each week and talk about everything NASCAR related. They also have guests on and they are very entertaining. They also will break news that has not been announced yet. They will tell it like it is and don’t care who they offend. They have a segment where Jason will choose questions to ask them from fans on Twitter. The segment I like is when they do Spot On or Spot Off as this gives them time to expand on a question.

The Dale Jr Download with Dale Jr, Mike Davis, Matthew Dillner and Leah Vaughn gives you a dive into the current NASCAR as well as legends in NASCAR. Each week they have a guest and it will be sure to keep you entertained. It is a must listen to each week as you learn a lot about the history of NASCAR. They talk about the previous race as well as preview the next race.

This next podcast is a father and son podcast. Former NASCAR Cup driver Rick Mast and his son Ricky Mast. They give their point of view on current NASCAR races as well as tell you about some of the history of NASCAR. Rick Mast can tell stories like no other and they are all entertaining. I recommend starting at the beginning and listen to all their episodes.
For the final podcast I recommend, the Redhead Racing Radio podcast. It is hosted by Jason Schultz and Andrew Kurland. They are two college students that are working in the sport and they give different perspective about the events in NASCAR. They also give inside details about their experiences at the track.
